If a water softener is considered, a professional should assess water characteristics, consumption and the installation. The system needs sizing, maintenance and checks according to its manufacturer; not every filter removes hardness or guarantees an immediate improvement.<\/p>\n

<\/a> Assessing limescale deposits<\/h2>\n

Heating and water conditions can encourage deposits in certain appliances and pipes. Reduced flow or performance changes need assessment to identify the cause, which is not always limescale.<\/p>\n

Do not add descaler to the water heater or domestic water circuit as a home remedy. Internal descaling requires the manufacturer’s procedure and competent technical service, with checks before the appliance is used again.<\/p>\n
